Raising the Bar

With the sun shining over Leeds this week, we couldn’t resist heading up to the top of the building to film a sneak preview of the roof terrace – and capture the city from a whole new angle.

Perfectly placed in the city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the station, the terrace offers sweeping views across Leeds. From here, you can see some of the city’s most iconic landmarks – including the Town Hall, the Art Gallery, and the historic rooftops that give Leeds its distinctive skyline. It’s a striking reminder of how close we are to the cultural heart of the city. It’s a space that brings together the energy of the city with a sense of calm and openness you rarely find in a central location.

But it’s not just about the view. The terrace is being designed as a space where people can meet, relax, and enjoy time together, whether during the working day or well into the evening. It will feature generous lounge areas, shaded spots to dine or catch up over a drink at the bar, and flexible set-ups for talks, gatherings and open-air events.

To ensure comfort in every season, we’re installing high-performance heating discreetly built into the structure – keeping things warm without interrupting the clean, modern design. From quick morning coffees to evening events under the stars, the terrace will be ready to host it all.

Take a look at the video below, filmed during one of the brightest weeks of the year so far, and see Leeds from our perspective.
